Anant Mandgi & Associates is
a full service law office which came into existence
in the year 1925 in Bombay presently
called Mumbai, India. At present with the operations
in Bangalore, it is headed by Mr. Anant Mandgi, the
3rd Generation Lawyer.
History
Mr.A A Mandgi, the Founder of the
firm was a lawyer Attorney practicing mainly in the
area of criminal practice. He was also the Public
Prosecutor of Bombay, which was also known as Bombay
State.
Mr. Narayan Rao Mandgi, son of A.A
Mandgi was the second generation lawyer to continue
the practice of the firm. He started his practice
in Bombay in 1954. After reorganization of the States
in India, on 1st Nov 1956, Belgaum, the native place
of Mandgi family became a part of the State of Mysore
presently known as Karnataka State. In view of the
reorganization of States the office was shifted to
Bangalore in 1956 where the High Court of Karnataka
is located.
The firm is carrying on its practice in Bangalore
from 1956 till date.
Mr. Anant Mangi, the 3rd generation lawyer, started
his career in 1984 under the able guidance of his
father late Sri. Narayan Rao Mangdi (who expired in
1992). At present Anant Mandgi, his
wife Ujwala A Mandgi , their son
Amit Mandgi and their other associates
are carrying on their law practice at Bangalore.
Our Values
The policy of the firm is TEAM WORK and personal involvement

are being heard in the court. Every associate of the
firm is given equal responsibility and is accountable

associates at any point of time and can seek advise

property matters, corporate matters, contracts,
family law, criminal cases etc… are
some of the few fields among many, which the firm
deals with.

We adhere to strict standards regarding client secrecy
and adhere to strict professional ethics. Information
about our clients are not divulged or discussed with
other clients or third parties.
Philosophy
Most of the associates are advocates who practice
in courts. The concept of Solicitors firm is not common
in Bangalore. Most of the law firms play a dual role
of Solicitors and Advocates.
